Cucumber, Lime and Celery Smoothie

With this soothing and refreshing smoothie, you can give your joints and other inflamed areas a rest. Full of cucumbers, pineapples and flaxseeds, this smoothie delivers a good dose of nutrients which decrease inflammation in the body.

This makes 1 serving. Increase measurements by multiplying them with the number of servings in mind to make more.

Ingredients

· ½ a lime (fresh, chopped)

· 1 stalk of celery (fresh, chopped)

· 1 cup of cucumbers (fresh, peeled, chopped)

· ½ cup of pineapples (fresh, peeled, chopped)

· 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds

· 3 cubes of ice

· Coconut water

Method:

Chop up the pineapple, lime, cucumber and celery before putting them inside the NutriBullet glass tube. Add flax seeds and the ice cubes. Now add the coconut water, filling the tube almost till the MAX Line. Screw on the blade attachment and blitz until you get a smooth texture.

Serve:

Serve as is with some pineapple chunks or lime wedges as a garnish on top.
